Committee Members

The committee are responsible for  supporting the manager in the operation  of the service. They are:

 

 

FERGAL MCCAULEY

CHAIRMAN

Fergal has served on the committee since September 2005. He has served as Secretary from 2006-2009 and currently holds position of Chair. Fergal works as Head of Estates and Facilities at City of Glasgow College.

 

 

PAULINE DOLAN

VICE CHAIRPERSON

Pauline has been with the committee for 4 years. She has two children, Rebecca in primary 4 and Cameron in first year at high school. She has a professional qualification in childcare with a number of years childcare experience.  She is presently studying IT at college.

 

 

MARI EVERETT

TREASURER

Mari is a Finance Manager with a local authority. She is originally from the sunny South West of Scotland but has lived in Ralston for 15 years.  She has two boys, one of whom is now at Paisley Grammar and one in Primary 4 at Ralston Primary.

 

 

 

WILLIAM MCCALLISTER SECRETARY

William has lived in the area for the last three years after living and working in Lancashire for the previous 20 years. William has worked for BAE Systems for the last 23 years in various roles in Engineering and Operations Management in Aerospace and Ship Building. Karen and William have 2 boys that have attended ROSC for the last 4 years. They have a busy home and every two weeks it gets even busier when Williams other three children come and visit them.

 

 

ANGELA BOOTH

COMMITTEE MEMBER

Angela has lived in Ralston for nine years. She is an active part of the school Parent Council as well as a parent helper. She joined Ralston OSC last year as secretary and is a welcome addition to the service. Angela is a buyer for Stow in Hillington.

 

 

GARY MCCALLUM

COMMITTEE MEMBER

Gary has lived in Ralston for eight years. Interested in local issues he has been an active member of Ralston Community Council and at present is in his third term as Chair. Gary has worked for many years in Local Government Housing and now specialises in Community & Workplace mediation. He is an Accreditation assessor for the Scottish Community Mediation Network.

 

 

SUSAN POLDING-CLYDE

COMMITTEE MEMBER

Susan has spent most of her career working in the NHS with older people. She really enjoys the opportunity of being actively involved in supporting and working with young people, now she has a 'wee one at school' though she is now a 'big one'!  Susan does not live in the Ralston community and finds being part of the ROSC committee and also a member of the School Council helps her meet with people who live locally to the school and understand the issues affecting the community.

 

BRIAN POLDING-CLYDE

COMMITTEE MEMBER 

Brian's daughter Rebecca has attended ROSC for the last four years and has enjoyed her time there, which is why Brian is happy to give something back to ROSC. Ralston Out of School Care
